Tanger Wedding Chaos: Social Media Star Arrested as Police Crack Down on Dangerous Processions

The police services of the Wilaya de sûreté de Tanger have arrested several individuals following disturbances that occurred during a wedding procession. The alleged offenses include dangerous driving and noise pollution in the city center.
The investigation was initiated after a wedding procession caused disorder in the Nations Square. Based on the examination of surveillance cameras, the investigations have formally identified a group of people committing serious traffic offenses. The video recordings have revealed acrobatic driving, the use of fireworks, as well as significant noise pollution, all of which have undermined public safety and tranquility.
As part of this operation, a person known for his activity on social networks was arrested. He regularly published videos of wedding processions. He appeared in one of these publications at the handlebars of a motorcycle, adopting a dangerous driving behavior at the scene of the events. After his arrest and the seizure of his motorcycle, the individual was referred to the regional judicial police service.
In parallel with this arrest, judicial summons were issued against several other participants in the procession. Their involvement in offenses endangering public order is being examined. The security services are continuing their investigations to identify all the people involved so that the necessary legal measures can be taken against them.
