Suspected Serial Child Rapist Arrested in Fez, Morocco

The Royal Gendarmerie of Moulay Yaacoub, in the Fez-Meknes region, recently arrested and presented before the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Fez a dangerous criminal accused of raping minors. During his appearance, the accused admitted to having repeatedly abused his victims, said the daily Assabah.

"The criminal always threatened his victims with death if they alerted the police or disclosed the facts to their families," said the prosecutor, stressing that the investigation opened by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, will make it possible to identify all the victims.

The criminal was apprehended after the mother of a 6-year-old victim filed a complaint against him with the competent authorities. According to the complaint, the rapist took the little girl and her 7-year-old cousin to an isolated place to abuse them in turn. Another complaint was filed against the accused, accused of having raped a 7-year-old student twice.
