Moroccan Shipping Agency Owner Arrested for International Employment Scam

The judicial police of Sidi Slimane arrested a Moroccan expatriate, owner of an international shipping and transport agency. He is accused of having defrauded several people to whom he signed fictitious employment contracts abroad.
The Moroccan expatriate, involved in a human trafficking network, was arrested during a joint operation carried out by the judicial police elements of Sidi Slimane and their counterparts from the wilaya of Kenitra. Owner of an international shipping and transport agency, he scammed several victims to whom he issued fictitious employment contracts in France and Canada, reports the daily Al Akhbar.

The accused was arrested after some of his victims filed a complaint against him and organized a sit-in in front of the headquarters of his agency. He was brought before the investigating judge for fraud and incitement to immigration. During his arrest, the Moroccan expatriate, holder of a Belgian residence card, was in possession of a large sum of euros.
The defendant collected between 70,000 and 120,000 dirhams from his victims to issue a contract that they never receive. Several victims of this scam continue to file complaints with the judicial police of Sidi Slimane.
