Fraudulent Attorney Arrested at Moroccan Court After Scamming Multiple Victims

While posing as a lawyer, an individual was unmasked and then arrested at the court of first instance in Berrechid. He managed to defraud several people.
End of maneuvers for a fake lawyer. An individual was arrested on December 28 in flagrante delicto at the court of first instance in Berrechid for having defrauded several people by usurping the title of lawyer, reports Assabah. He presented himself to his "carefully chosen" victims as a young lawyer practicing in this court. He promised to defend them in court before defrauding them.
The fake lawyer demanded large sums of money depending on their social status. At first, he defrauded his victims outside the courthouse. The frantic search for easy gain pushed him to go to the courthouse where he defrauded several people. His last attempt failed. He was arrested in flagrante delicto. Several fraud operations are attributed to him. A judicial investigation has been opened.
