Fake Lawyer in Morocco Sentenced to 5 Years for Fraud and Impersonation

The court of first instance of Inezgane sentenced an individual to five years in prison with a fine of 15,000 dirhams for fraud and usurpation of the title of lawyer.
The individual was posing as a lawyer, capable of defending litigants and obtaining a judgment in their favor, at the court of first instance of Inezgane, reports Barlamane. In this capacity, he received astronomical sums in return.
When his victims discovered that he was a fake lawyer, they filed a complaint against him. Immediately, elements of the royal gendarmerie went after him. He will be arrested near the weekly market in the town of Biougra, located 37 km from Agadir.
At the court of first instance of Inezgane, the judge sentenced him to five years in prison with a fine of 15,000 dirhams for fraud and usurpation of function.
