Suspect Arrested in Fatal Assault on Homeless Man in Tiznit, Morocco

A homeless man with a criminal record was arrested by the judicial police of the provincial security district of Tiznit. He would be involved in a case of assault and battery resulting in the death of an individual.

The suspect, 53 years old, was arrested not far from the crime scene. The investigations allowed the identification of the victim, a homeless man whose body, abandoned in a deserted area on the road to Guelmim, showed signs of violence, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

Pending clarification of this crime, the suspect was taken into custody.
