Moroccan Man Arrested for Fatal Domestic Violence Attack in Tiflet

A 47-year-old individual was arrested by the regional security department of the city of Tiflet. He is suspected of serious assault and battery resulting in the death of his wife.

In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) points out that the preliminary findings of the investigation revealed that the suspect attacked his 40-year-old wife with a sharp object, and that death followed immediately.

The same source indicates that the search and investigation operations made it possible to locate the suspect who had fled after committing the crime. Pending the results of the investigation opened to determine the ins and outs of this drama, the suspect was placed in custody, the DGSN specifies.
