Meknes Man Arrested for Fatal Domestic Assault; Landlord Also Injured

Elements of the Meknes Meknes police prefecture arrested a 52-year-old individual. He would be involved in a case of assault and battery with a bladed weapon resulting in the death of his wife.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the accused had had a family dispute with his wife at his home in Hay Marjane, before assaulting her with a blunt metal object, which resulted in her death. Similarly, the suspect assaulted the owner of the home he was renting, inflicting serious injuries on him.
The immediate intervention of the national security elements made it possible to arrest the suspect near the crime scene and seize his weapon, the same source specifies.
Pending the determination of the circumstances of this case as well as all the criminal acts attributed to him, the accused was placed in police custody.
