Wanted Fraudster Arrested in Fez for Impersonating Justice Officials

An individual actively wanted at the national level was arrested by elements of the regional brigade of the judicial police of Fez. He would be involved in a case of fraud and identity theft.
The suspect is a 51-year-old man with numerous criminal records for forming a criminal gang for the purpose of fraud. He usurped the qualities and identities of senior justice officials, according to the General Directorate of National Security in a press release.
The security forces conducted research and investigations that made it possible to identify and apprehend the suspect in the Narjis district of Fez. The search operations of the latter’s house made it possible to seize administrative documents, mobile phones, SIM cards and USB keys. Expertise is underway to determine their content and the nature of their use in this criminal activity, specifies the DGSN.
