Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stoning of Homeless Man in Agadir, Morocco

An individual was arrested on Friday by the judicial police of Agadir. He is accused of his alleged involvement in a case of assault and battery resulting in the death of a homeless person.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicated that the accused, 32 years old, had exposed the victim, a vagrant, to physical aggression by throwing stones in a deserted area of the city of Agadir, resulting in his death.
The investigations made it possible to identify and arrest the defendant a few hours after the crime, the statement continues. The defendant was taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation in order to determine the circumstances of the crime.
