Moroccan Police Officer Arrested in Tetouan for Alleged Job Recruitment Scam

The elements of the judicial police of Tetouan arrested, on Sunday, a police sergeant working in the urban corps of the city, for his alleged involvement in a case of fraud.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicated that an investigation was opened by the national security services following a complaint filed by a person who claims to have been the victim of fraud by the sergeant, who was arrested in flagrante delicto of fraud.
According to the complaint filed, the policeman received a sum of money from the victim in exchange for the promise of intervening in his favor to integrate the ranks of the national security. He was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
Pending the completion of the judicial procedure initiated to take the necessary disciplinary measures against the policeman, the DGSN has decided to suspend him provisionally.
