Suspect Arrested in Casablanca Supermarket Burglary, Stolen Goods Recovered
The elements of the judicial police of Sidi Bernoussi in Casablanca succeeded, on Tuesday, February 18, in arresting a 29-year-old individual for his alleged involvement in the burglary of a BIM store.
The identity of the aggressor was revealed in the hours following the filing of the complaint by the manager of the supermarket. According to the latter, 3 televisions, 1 mobile camera, several electronic accessories, as well as cosmetic products, were stolen.
A raid on the suspect’s home, in the Sidi Moumen neighborhood, made it possible to recover all the stolen objects, carefully hidden inside a garbage can.
Placed in custody, pending the completion of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the individual will have to be brought before the courts, once the circumstances of the case have been determined.
