A woman in her forties was arrested last week by the judicial police elements of Sefrou, for her alleged involvement in a case of fraud and breach of trust.
In exchange for large sums of money, the 42-year-old suspect promised her victims jobs in the agricultural fields in France.
A dozen victims of fraud have filed complaints with the police for the theft of amounts ranging from 12,000 to 30,000 dirhams.
The suspect was placed in custody, at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending her appearance before the courts.
