Police Officer in El Jadida Arrested for Recruitment Fraud Scheme

A fraud case has affected an administrative service of the El Jadida Security Department. A police officer against whom a judicial investigation was opened on Tuesday by the city’s judicial police would have defrauded individuals wishing to join the ranks of the National Security.
According to Map, citing a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the judicial police services had received four complaints from individuals who were victims of fraud by the accused. According to the testimonies, they would have given him various sums of money in exchange for "so-called promises to intervene on their behalf for the purpose of recruitment in different ranks and grades of the national security".
Pending the continuation of the investigation that will determine all the criminal acts with which he is charged, the defendant has been taken into custody.
