Ex-Moroccan Soldier Sentenced to 3 Years for Job Scam Targeting 30 Victims

A former Moroccan soldier was sentenced by the Khémisset Court, on Tuesday, October 8, to 3 years in prison, for his alleged involvement in a case of fraud and fraud against 30 victims.
According to the daily Al Massae, the individual, a former adjutant dismissed from the Royal Armed Forces for a serious offense, promised his victims jobs in the police, army and gendarmerie, in exchange for large sums of money.
The suspect, who had disappeared from the city after receiving more than 600,000 dirhams, was finally trapped by one of his victims in Souk Larbaa Gharb. She handed him over to the police.
After hearing the many victims, the elements of the Judicial Police brought the defendant before the Public Prosecutor’s Office, who prosecuted him for fraud. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison, in addition to compensating the victims.
