Moroccan Police Arrest Two Suspects in Kidnapping and Rape of Teen Girl

The police services of the city of Laâyoune succeeded in arresting two individuals, in their twenties, for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping and rape of a 15-year-old girl.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, the two suspects had kidnapped the minor near her family home, before forcibly driving her to an unknown location in a car.
Held captive for 48 hours, since February 24, the young girl had been sexually abused, under threat of a knife, before miraculously managing to escape their grip.
Arrested on board the car used for the kidnapping, the two accused were taken into custody at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending their appearance before the courts.
