Man Arrested in Morocco for Alleged Rape and Abduction of 14-Year-Old Girl

A man in his thirties was arrested in Safi for his alleged involvement in the embezzlement and rape of a minor girl.
The 14-year-old girl had left the family home on Friday, September 11. A preliminary investigation by the judicial police of the provincial security of the city of Safi revealed that the victim was diverted by two individuals who then raped her at the home of one of them in the Zine El Abidine neighborhood of Safi.
The investigations led to the identification and arrest of one of the two suspects. According to the DGSN, no complaint was filed with the police on this matter before the victim’s father informed the police after finding her in a public park.
The search and investigation is continuing to arrest the second suspect involved in this case. But in the meantime, the first suspect has been placed in custody at the disposal of the preliminary investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to shed light on this case.
