Suspect in Moroccan Child Murder Case Faces Prosecutor in Tangier

The man accused of having killed and buried the little Adnane Bouchouf was referred on Monday to the public prosecutor’s office in Tangier.
On Monday, the judicial police department of Tangier referred the main suspect in a case of voluntary homicide of a minor with sexual assault to the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal. He was referred after the end of the preliminary investigation and the expiration of the custody period. The 24-year-old suspect was arrested on Friday night and is being prosecuted while in custody.
The investigations and diagnosis carried out by the judicial police supported by the DGST made it possible to identify the suspect who lives near the victim’s home. The investigations proved that the suspect had taken the victim to an apartment he had rented in the neighborhood. He had sexually assaulted the 11-year-old victim and committed the voluntary homicide, the same day before burying the body near his home. These three roommates were also arrested for concealing the crime committed.
