Family Mourns 11-Year-Old Moroccan Boy Killed in Brutal Sexual Assault Case

Nearly a month after the murder of their son, on September 7, by a 24-year-old worker, the parents of Adnane Bouchouf have returned to this tragedy. They gave a poignant testimony about the last memories they have of their child.
On September 7, as he was going to the neighborhood pharmacy to pay for medicines around 4 p.m., the teenager was intercepted by the alleged murderer who took him to his apartment, reports 2m.ma. According to the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), Adnane Bouchouf was sexually assaulted and killed in cold blood before being buried under a tree near the family home in Béni Makada.
For the parents of the victim, who was to celebrate his 11th birthday on October 13, an alert was given following his disappearance. This allowed the police, in collaboration with the elements of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), to arrest the suspect a few days later. He lived not far from the victim’s parents’ home and worked in the industrial zone. During the interrogation, he confessed.
