Moroccan Officials Offer Condolences After 11-Year-Old’s Murder in Tangier

Head of Government Saad Dine El Othmani and Director General of National Security Abdellatif Hammouchi have expressed their condolences to the parents of Adnane, the 11-year-old child who was kidnapped, raped and coldly murdered by a man in Tangier.
In a statement, the DGSN Director expressed to the victim’s parents his compassion in the face of an inestimable loss and his indignation at the circumstances of the crime. Thus, he sent the Wali of Security in Tangier to present on his behalf to Adnane Bouchouf’s parents his condolences and assure them of the police’s determination to see this case through. The 24-year-old pedophile was arrested on Friday evening. According to the DGSN, the suspect took the victim to an apartment, raped and murdered him before burying him near a tree near his home.
For his part, El Otmani expressed his deep sadness and sincere condolences to the family of young Adnane Bouchouf. He praised the professionalism of the police who "in record time" managed to solve the "horrible crime".
