Morocco’s King Condemns ’Odious Act’ in Murder of 11-Year-Old Adnane Bouchouf

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of Adnane Bouchouf, an 11-year-old boy who disappeared, was raped, found dead and buried near his parents’ home in Tangier.
In this message, the Sovereign states that he learned with great emotion and deep sorrow the news of the tragedy that has grieved Adnane’s family. The Sovereign condemns the criminal, odious act of which the child was a victim.
King Mohammed VI implores, on this occasion, the Almighty to surround the deceased with His holy mercy and to welcome him into His vast Paradise among the prophets, the martyrs and the righteous.
"And give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, ’Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.’" Verily is the word of God, concludes the Sovereign.
