Moroccans in Paris Rally for Justice in Tragic Murder of 11-Year-Old Adnane Bouchouf

Moroccans gathered on Saturday, September 19th on the Place de la République in Paris to pay tribute to the memory of Adnane Bouchouf, the 11-year-old boy who was kidnapped, raped and killed in Tangier.
The Paris gathering also aims to ask the authorities to ensure that "justice is served in this case," says Rachida, one of the organizers of the sit-in. A few dozen people gathered, Moroccan flag in hand, Adnane’s portraits placed on the ground and surrounded by small candles and white flowers, the protesters join the parents’ grief and demand the application of the death penalty against the perpetrator of this heinous crime, reports atlasinfo.fr.
Last Monday, September 7th, Adnane left home to make a purchase at the pharmacy. He was not found until 4 days later, buried in the woods, not far from the family home. The shock was great for the parents who learned with horror that their son had been raped and strangled before being buried. Many Moroccans like those who gathered in Paris are demanding that the death penalty be applied so that justice is truly served.
Several personalities have also expressed their sadness at the nature of the act committed, especially on an innocent soul like Adnane, cut down in the prime of life. This is the case of King Mohammed VI, who presented his condolences to the bereaved family, while praying to the All-Merciful Almighty to grant them patience and comfort in this painful ordeal, the same source specifies.
