Father Kills 7-Year-Old Daughter in Agadir Domestic Tragedy, Police Investigate

The elements of the Agadir police prefecture opened a judicial investigation on Monday, March 2, to determine the exact circumstances that led a family man to commit a monstrous crime against his 7-year-old daughter.
The 39-year-old father inflicted fatal blows on his barely 7-year-old daughter, at the paternal grandfather’s home, where he has been residing since his divorce. Apparently provoked by a domestic dispute, the use of a bladed weapon by the aggressor left no chance for the little victim.
Following this dramatic incident, the father had unsuccessfully tried to end his life by ingesting toxic substances. But the rapid intervention of the medical service of the Hassan II hospital in Agadir, managed to put him out of danger. His vital prognosis is not engaged.
Pending his appearance before the courts, the suspect was placed in custody, at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the exact circumstances of the crime.
