A 16-year-old teenager tried to commit suicide on Monday evening by jumping from the top of a 2-story building in the Ennahada neighborhood in Salé.
Surprised by her father while talking to a friend, supposedly her classmate, the young girl took her whole family by surprise by jumping out the window.
She was rushed to the Moulay Abdellah Hospital in Salé, then to the Ibn Sina University Hospital in Rabat, to receive first aid. It is not yet known whether her prognosis is engaged.
An investigation has been opened by the police services, under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, to determine the exact circumstances of the suicide attempt.
