Suspect Arrested in Casablanca Police Officer Assault Caught on Video

The individual, 24 years old, known to the judicial services, was arrested in possession of a stolen motorcycle with violence before threatening a traffic officer with a blunt object to allow his accomplice to flee on the stolen motorcycle, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

The investigations made it possible to identify him and arrest him in a rural locality in the vicinity of the Jorf Lasfar industrial park. The search is still ongoing to arrest the accomplice, who has already been identified, it is specified.

The suspect was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to elucidate the circumstances of this case, concludes the DGSN.
