Casablanca Police Arrest Three in International Credit Card Fraud Scheme

The Ain Chok police in Casablanca arrested three individuals for their alleged involvement in the exploitation of stolen bank cards.
The arrest of the two main suspects came following information received by the city’s security services. While attempting to use fraudulently obtained foreign bank card data on the Internet at a Casablanca gas station, they were caught in the act, according to a DGSN press release.
The initial investigation revealed that the two suspects are repeat offenders. Their method is based on the use of hacked foreign card data to receive a share of the financial proceeds from fraudulent transactions.
The accused, along with a third accomplice, were taken into custody, at the disposal of the investigation conducted by the competent prosecutor’s office, in order to shed light on all the circumstances of this case and identify all the criminal acts attributed to the persons concerned.
