Sub-Saharan Woman Arrested in Morocco for Football Recruitment Scam Targeting Young Players

The police elements arrested on Friday in Casablanca a woman of sub-Saharan origin who would be involved in a case of fraud, human trafficking, mainly of footballers.
The modus operandi of the suspect is to dangle European contracts to young footballers eager to make a career in Europe. In the guise of a recruiting agent, she has managed to victimize many people.
The case came to light when six people filed a complaint against her, accusing her of extorting one million 63 thousand dirhams from them, in exchange for the promise of emigration to Europe to join a football club.
Arrested by the judicial police of the Anfa district in Casablanca, she was held in custody to determine all the implications and identify all the criminal acts attributed to the suspect as well as her possible accomplices.
