The port of Tarifa was closed to passengers heading to Morocco (Port Tanger ville) on Sunday due to strong winds in the Strait of Gibraltar.
In a message posted on its website, the port of Tarifa invites passengers wishing to go to Morocco to go to the port of Algeciras to take a boat to Tanger Med.
The Spanish National Meteorological Agency has activated the orange warning in Cadiz on Sunday due to coastal phenomena, with winds that can reach 90 km/h.
The Spanish port authorities also inform that the traffic between the ports of Tarifa and Tanger ville will be restored as soon as the weather conditions allow.
