Standard Liège Coach Criticizes Morocco’s Handling of Amallah’s Injury

The coach of Standard de Liège, Philippe Montanier, does not agree with the management of the case of his protégé, Selim Amallah, summoned by Vahid Halilhodzic.
The management of the Moroccan international’s injury is not to the liking of his Liège coach, reports La Dernière Heure. He is angry with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and coach Vahid Halilhodzic. "He was treated in the Moroccan national team, where he had gone to have his injury checked, but he didn’t play a single minute. I think Saturday’s match (against Eupen in the Jupiler Pro League, ed.) is also compromised for him," Montanier regretted.
The Dutch coach also deplored Amallah’s trip by train, then by plane from Belgium to Morocco. "It’s not very responsible..." he added.
