Speeding Driver Strikes Two Motorcycle Officers in Agadir Hit-and-Run

Two police officers on duty on August 20 Avenue in Agadir were hit head-on on Thursday, October 17, 2019, by a reckless driver traveling at a very high speed.
The two victims, motorcycle officers from the Agadir National Security Directorate, were on duty and ensuring security on the axis. The motorcyclist did not even take the time to stop to inquire about the health of his victims.
According to Barlamane, having suffered serious injuries, the two police officers were urgently admitted to the hospital to receive appropriate care.
Pending the identification of the person responsible, an investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, to determine the ins and outs of this case, recalls the same source.
A few days ago, a similar tragedy occurred and this time resulted in the sudden death of the gendarme on the coastal road connecting the city of Harhoura to Rabat. The person responsible, who was finally arrested and taken into custody, wanted to escape a check.
