Moroccan Police Officers Arrested for Corruption and Blackmail in Rabat

Accused of corruption and blackmail, two police officers from the Motorcycle Brigade of the Rabat Police Prefecture have been arrested.
Their arrest follows a complaint from a woman who accuses the two police sergeants of blackmail and corruption, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), in a press release.
According to the same source, the Judicial Police quickly responded to this complaint and opened a judicial investigation that led to the arrest of the two police officers in flagrante delicto in possession of the sum of money resulting from this blackmail.
Pending the results of the judicial investigation leading to the taking of the disciplinary sanctions provided for in the status of the officials of the National Security, the two suspects were placed in custody.
