Spanish Hotel Giant Soho Boutique Expands Luxury Footprint in Morocco with Casablanca Skyscraper

Soho Boutique is strengthening its presence in Morocco. The Spanish hotel group based in Malaga has announced the opening of a second establishment in the kingdom, after the opening of a first unit in Tetouan in 2024.

After Tetouan, Soho Boutique is setting up in Casablanca. The hotel chain will operate the Anafee Tower, a five-star hotel located in the heart of the financial district of the economic capital of the kingdom, owned by the Kabbaj family who invest in sectors such as real estate, textiles and industry.

Soho Boutique Casablanca will have 74 rooms, including 26 studios, 20 apartments and 28 residences. "Casablanca is a destination with strength and personality. This hotel embodies everything we are looking for: a privileged location, style and, above all, a close-knit experience. Morocco is a firm commitment for us," said Antonio Gordillo, CEO of the group.

The Spanish hotel giant plans to open a third unit in Tangier by the end of 2026. Soho Boutique Hotels currently has more than 70 establishments in Spain and Morocco and plans to expand in Italy and Portugal, places that "have a soul, that inspire and offer a service that allows the customer to feel at home".
