Spanish Doctor Killed, Nurse Rescued in Fiery Car Crash Near Zafarraya

A terrible road accident cost the life of a 36-year-old doctor a few days ago on the A-402, near Zafarraya, in Spain. The vehicle, which was also transporting a nurse, rolled over several times for an as yet undetermined reason.
Present at the scene of the tragedy, Moroccans immediately came to the aid of the occupants of the wrecked car. They managed to extract the seriously injured nurse, but unfortunately could do nothing for the doctor, trapped in the cabin engulfed in flames.
The emergency services, alerted by the witnesses, quickly arrived on the scene. Firefighters, the Civil Guard and medical personnel from the Alhama health center, where the victim worked, found the doctor dead. The nurse, on the other hand, was airlifted to the trauma hospital. Her condition is considered worrying, and she had to undergo emergency surgery.
According to the information gathered, the doctor and the nurse were on duty that Saturday and were going to the emergency post to buy food. The Andalusian Health Service expressed its sadness and conveyed its condolences to the deceased’s loved ones, as well as to his colleagues, deeply affected by this tragedy.
