Fatal Car Crash at Morocco Café Terrace Leaves 1 Dead, 8 Injured in Jerada

According to initial information available, the tragedy was reportedly due to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The car then allegedly skidded before violently crashing into the establishment, mowing down customers and furniture. The accident also caused material damage, particularly to two-wheelers parked nearby, and generated strong emotion and a state of panic at the scene.

Emergency services, quickly alerted, arrived at the scene. Civil protection teams proceeded to evacuate the injured to the emergency room, while the body of the victim was transported to the city morgue, in accordance with legal procedures.

An investigation was immediately launched by the competent authorities, under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office. The objective is to shed light on the precise circumstances that led to this tragedy and to establish any potential responsibilities.
