Spain Tops French Summer Travel Trends, Morocco Absent from Top 10 Destinations

Morocco is absent from the top 10 of the most sought-after destinations by the French this summer. This is revealed by a travel search engine.
Kayak.fr has unveiled the tourism trends for the summer of 2022. According to hotel searches for the summer, 10 destinations are the most sought after by the French. With Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, Spain dominates the ranking. The two Spanish cities occupy the first two places in the top 10 of the destinations most sought after by the French this summer. They are followed by Paris, Mykonos (Greece), London, New York and Lisbon. Ajaccio (France), Amsterdam and Rome complete the podium.
"There’s no doubt — travel is back for the French, and they’re eager to go abroad. The good news for those planning to travel this summer and who haven’t booked yet is that we’re not seeing flight prices rise as interest grows, unlike the prices seen in other countries. But as we know, prices are not always predictable, so it would be wise to book as early as possible," advises John-Lee Saez, director of Kayak Europe.
