Sevilla’s En-Nesyri Scores, Assists, Then Exits with Potential Foot Injury

Youssef En-Nesyri had a blackout on Saturday during the match against Mallorca and may be injured in his left foot. The Moroccan striker contributed to the victory of FC Seville by scoring the first goal of the match and providing the assist for the second goal.
Youssef EN-Nesyri had a great game on Saturday against Mallorca (2-0) where he opened the scoring in the 28th minute. With this goal, the Moroccan international already has seven goals in nine games this year. He also provided the assist that allowed Bryan Gil to score Seville’s second goal. The young player was then substituted following a blackout.
As he was returning to the locker room at the end of the match, En-Nesyri was unable to stand on his feet and had to be helped by the club’s doctors, to the ovation of the crowd, reports El Desmarque. This suggests that the Moroccan striker may have an injury to his left foot. But his coach believes it’s nothing serious.
"En-Nesyri finished very exhausted because he played an incredible first half, the best of the year, not just for the goal, but for creating a lot of chances in attack, and that’s how the second goal came about. The exhaustion made him feel a certain malaise, I don’t think it’s serious," Sampaoli said in the post-match press conference.
