Sevilla’s En-Nesyri Faces Injury Concerns Ahead of Crucial Matches

Sevilla FC coach Sampaoli confirmed on Wednesday a "possible injury" to Youssef En-Nesyri. The Moroccan striker had suffered various discomforts during the match against PSV and missed training on Monday.
En-Nesyri has been in great form since his return from the World Cup and has scored at least one goal per game. The Moroccan striker has therefore become an essential piece of Seville’s system. But he "does not withstand 100% of the matches. He always ends up with a certain discomfort," explained Sampaoli.
"We will try to play him as long as possible tomorrow, but I don’t know if he will play on Sunday, because it will depend on his condition. There are a lot of players who have gone from the World Cup to the Liga Santander very quickly and this lack of preparation sometimes makes them uncomfortable," the coach added.
Sampaoli recalled that "so far, he (En-Nesyri) has not been able to play more than an hour, it is a risk, because we know that the player warns that there is an imminent possibility of injury." So the Moroccan striker, who is very important for the club, may not play on Sunday against Rayo.
