Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Sparks Sevilla’s Resurgence with Seventh Goal of Season

Youssef En-Nesyri has regained full fitness this season and is pulling Sevilla upwards. The Moroccan striker scored his seventh goal of the year on Saturday in the match against Mallorca.
En-Nesyri was the driving force behind Sevilla’s victory on Saturday, with a goal and an assist. He was proactive in attack and provided several opportunities for his team. The Moroccan international maintained pressure on the opposing team and was very good at ball recoveries. In summary, the Sevilla striker had a great game, like the previous ones since the beginning of the year.
Since his return from the World Cup in Qatar with Morocco, En-Nesyri has regained confidence in himself and wants to continue to write beautiful pages with Sevilla. The Moroccan declined the tempting offer from West Ham during the last transfer window, stressing that he does not want to leave Sevilla "in the worst moments". The Moroccan has been able to quickly adapt to Sampaoli’s game system, and to work with the new recruits like Pape Gueye and Bryan Gil, reports Diario de Sevilla.
The Moroccan striker already has seven goals in 9 games played in January. A performance hailed by his coach after the match against Mallorca. "En-Nesyri finished very exhausted because he played an incredible first half, the best of this year, not just for the goal, but for creating a lot of chances in attack, and that’s how the second goal came. The exhaustion made him feel a certain discomfort, I don’t think it’s serious," Sampaoli said.
