Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri’s Goal Surge Boosts Sevilla’s Transfer Hopes

Youssef En-Nesyri is in great form this season. Since his return from the World Cup in Qatar, he has already scored 13 goals. A performance that delights Seville, still determined to sell the Moroccan striker to the highest bidder.
After an exceptional first season at Seville where he scored 24 goals in all competitions, Youssef En-Nesyri went through a bad patch the following season where he did not shine at all, before regaining his great form this season. The Moroccan striker scored only two goals before the World Cup and 13 since his return from the competition, totaling 15 goals this season, reports Sport.es.
The Moroccan international scored a brace in the match against Manchester United in the Europa League quarter-final return leg, allowing Seville to reach the semi-finals. He also gave the victory to his club last weekend by scoring the decisive goal against Villarreal (2-1) in La Liga. A victory that allows Seville to move away from relegation.
Youssef En-Nesyri arrived at Seville in 2020 from Leganés for 20 million euros. A price considered exorbitant at the time by the club’s fans, without knowing the player’s abilities. Today, the Moroccan has definitively conquered the Sevillians and his performances since his return from the World Cup are not going unnoticed.
En-Nesyri is attracting the interest of several European clubs and Seville is ready to sell him to the highest bidder. The player had rejected an attractive offer from West Ham a year ago, saying he did not want to leave the club "in the worst moments". With his current great form, the bids will certainly rise, to the delight of Seville.
