Sevilla FC Braces for Departure of Star Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Amid Premier League Interest

Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is expected to be among the announced departures for the next summer transfer window. Sevilla FC is already preparing for this eventuality.
Sevilla FC may lose one of its assets this summer. Like Youssef En-Nesyri, Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is on the radar of several European clubs after his performances at the World Cup, which earned him the distinction of third best goalkeeper of the World Cup.
Several clubs including Manchester United, Aston Villa are interested in the player’s profile who according to the site Fichajes should probably leave Sevilla FC this summer. As a precaution, the Andalusian club is planning the return of former goalkeeper David Soria, sold to Getafe in 2018.
Arrived at Sevilla FC three years ago, Yassine Bounou renewed his contract last year which expires in 2025. He has managed to establish himself, becoming over the seasons, a key player for the club. His commitment and performances have earned him several titles, including that of best goalkeeper in La Liga for the 2020-2021 season or that of Zamora Trophy winner.
