Sevilla Eyes Getafe’s David Soria as Potential Replacement for Bounou Amid Premier League Interest

FC Seville could part ways with Yassine Bounou in the next summer transfer window. The club is thinking of David Soria, the Getafe goalkeeper, to replace the Moroccan goalkeeper.
Considered one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga for several seasons, Yassine Bounou is attracting the interest of several Premier League clubs like Manchester United. If the Moroccan goalkeeper agrees to join this club or another during the next summer transfer window, Seville will have to quickly find a replacement for him.
Among the potential candidates for this position, David Soria, the Getafe goalkeeper, stands out from the pack, reports Fichajes. The goalkeeper made his debut in Seville’s youth teams and played in the club’s first team before joining Getafe where he has been shining this season. For Seville, the transfer of the 28-year-old player would simply mean his homecoming.
Seville is just waiting for offers from clubs interested in Bounou to also launch the transfer of Soria, which should not pose a problem, as part of the money received for Bounou’s transfer can be used to buy the current Getafe goalkeeper, who would not refuse to return to Seville.
