Severe Weather Strikes Morocco: Heavy Rain, Snow, and Strong Winds Forecast Through Monday

Heavy, locally stormy rains, snowfall and strong gusts of wind are affecting several provinces of the kingdom on Sunday and Monday.
The bad weather persists in Morocco. Heavy, locally stormy rains ranging from 40 to 60 millimeters are falling from Sunday at 12pm to Monday at 07am on Béni Mellal, Al Haouz, Azilal and Khénifra, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) said in an orange level alert bulletin.
Similarly, snowfall ranging from 20 to 50 centimeters is affecting the provinces of Ifrane, Béni Mellal, Azilal, Al Haouz, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taza, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Boulemane and Midelt from Sunday at 1pm to Monday at 07am.
The DGM also announces that strong gusts of wind are expected this Sunday from 12pm to 11pm in the provinces of Ouarzazate, Midelt, Tinghir, Taroudant, Azilal and Al Haouz. The same phenomenon will occur on Monday from 01am to 11pm in Guercif, Taourirt, Jerada, Figuig, Driouch, Nador, Boulemane, Taza, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Midelt, Tiznit, Tata and Taroudant.
