Morocco Issues Wind Alert: Gusts Up to 100 km/h Expected in Multiple Provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts strong gusts of wind from Tuesday to Thursday in several provinces of the kingdom.
In an orange alert bulletin, the DGM specifies that strong gusts of wind (75/90 km/h) will hit, on Tuesday from 10am to 11pm, the provinces of Boulemane, Midelt, Chtouka Aït-Baha, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Tiznit, Tata, Agadir-Ida Ou-Tanane, Guelmim, Tan-Tan, Sidi Ifni, Assa-Zag and Tarfaya. Similarly, the same phenomenon (80/100 km/h) will occur, from Wednesday at 01:00 to Thursday at 12:00, in the provinces of Tanger-Asilah, Fahs-Anjra, Tétouan and M’diq-Fnideq.
The DGM also announces that strong gusts will be recorded on Wednesday, April 5 in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Guercif, Taza, El Hajeb, Meknès, Boulemane, Moulay Yacoub, Ifrane, Khénifra, Midelt, Sefrou, Fès, Tinghir, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara and Boujdour.
