Morocco Braces for Severe Weather: Heavy Rain, Strong Winds, and Snow Expected Through Sunday

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts heavy rains sometimes stormy, strong gusts of wind and snowfall from Thursday to Sunday, February 12 in several regions of the kingdom.
A new episode of bad weather is announced in the middle of the week. Heavy rains sometimes stormy ranging from 25 to 35 mm are expected, Thursday from 09:00 to 22:00, in the provinces of Aousserd and Oued Ed-Dahhab, indicated the DGM in an orange level alert bulletin. Likewise, strong gusts of wind (75 to 95 km/h) will be recorded from Thursday at 12:00 to Saturday at 22:00 in Tetouan, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq and Tanger-Assilah.
The DGM also announces that strong gusts of wind (70 to 85 km/h) will affect Nador, Al-Haouz, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Chtouka ait Baha, Tiznit, Inezgane Ait Melloul, Taroudant, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan and Guelmim from Friday at 03:00 to Sunday at 18:00 and that snowfall (05 to 20 cm) will be recorded, Friday beyond 1,600 m, in the provinces of Taroudant, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Ouarzazate and Tiznit.
