Severe Weather Disrupts Flights Across Morocco, Forcing Multiple Diversions

Morocco has experienced weather disturbances in recent days that have caused chaos in the skies. Several flights destined for Moroccan airports have been forced to change course due to strong winds, reduced visibility and capricious weather.
The list of affected flights is long. The Qatar Airways flight from Doha, which was supposed to land in Marrakech, had to go to Casablanca. The same scenario for the Air France flight from Paris, as well as the EasyJet flight from Lyon. Turkish Airlines also saw its Istanbul-Marrakech flight diverted to Casablanca. Ryanair was not spared either: two of its planes had to revise their plans, one coming from Weeze and the other from Malaga, both redirected to Fez.
Other airlines have been affected by the vagaries of Moroccan weather. Iberia, Transavia... the examples are numerous. The Iberia flight from Madrid landed in Casablanca, while two Transavia flights, one from Amsterdam and the other from Nantes, were also forced to land in Casablanca.
