Severe Weather Forces Flight Diversions in Morocco, Impacting Agadir Airport

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, three flights destined for Al Massira Airport in Agadir were diverted to Marrakech-Menara Airport.
While they were supposed to land at Agadir Airport, the TO3000 flight from Transavia from Paris, the DE512 flight from Condor from Munich, and the U24483 flight from EasyJet from Lyon, were diverted to Marrakech Airport due to lack of visibility, announced Moroccan Aviation.
However, another Condor plane from Düsseldorf was able to land safely at Agadir Airport after the situation returned to normal and visibility improved at the airports, the same source said.
Morocco’s airports are experiencing an influx of foreign tourists, as well as Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) who choose to spend their holidays in the kingdom at this time of year.
