Severe Cold Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Plunge Below Freezing in Multiple Provinces

A cold wave is expected this week in several provinces of Morocco, according to forecasts from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Minimum temperatures should vary between -6 and 4 degrees Celsius, and this from Monday to Wednesday. The provinces of Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Guercif, Figuig, Taourirt, Jerada, Taza, Ifrane, Boulemane, Sefrou, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Tinghir and Midelt will be particularly affected by this cold wave, according to an orange alert bulletin issued by the DGM.
Minimum temperatures between 1 and 4 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures between 10 and 14 degrees Celsius are also expected in other provinces such as Larache, Tétouan, Ouezzane, Driouch, Berkane, Nador, Oujda-Angad, El Hajeb, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Meknès, Fès, Kénitra, Khemisset, Sidi Slimane, Skhirate-Témara, Sidi Kacem, Rabat, Salé, Fquih Ben Salah, Khouribga, Settat, Benslimane, Berrechid, Nouaceur, Casablanca, Médiouna, Chichaoua, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Rhamna, Errachidia, Ouarzazate and Taroudant.
