Severe Cold Snap Hits Morocco: Temperatures to Plunge as Low as -8°C in Multiple Provinces

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts, from this Sunday, January 29, 2023 to next Thursday, cold weather with minimum temperatures between -8 and 3°C and maximum temperatures between 2 and 14°C in several provinces of the kingdom.
Minimum temperatures ranging from -8 to -3°C and maximum temperatures between 2 and 8°C will be recorded in the provinces of Ifrane, Taza, Sefrou, Boulemane, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Midelt and Tinghir, the DGM said in a weather alert bulletin at the orange alert level.
The DGM also announces that minimum temperatures ranging from -3 to 3°C and maximum temperatures between 9 and 14°C will affect the provinces of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Jerrada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Figuig, El Hajeb, Fès, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Meknès, Khémisset, Khouribga, Chichaoua, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Errachidia, Tata and Taroudant.
