Royal Air Maroc Among Top Airlines for Passenger Complaints in Canada, CTA Report Shows

The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) has released a ranking of airlines that generate the most complaints from travelers. The Moroccan company Royal Air Maroc is in the top 3 of this list.
The study, conducted from April 2022 to March 2023, only includes carriers that received at least one complaint per 100 flights. In Canada, Flair Airlines tops the list with an average of 15.3 complaints per 100 flights, followed by Sunwing and Swoop with 13.8 and 13.2 complaints respectively.
Regarding foreign airlines, Lufthansa Airlines received the highest number of complaints, with an average of 37.6 per 100 flights. Behind it are Qatar Airways and Royal Air Maroc, with respective scores of 24.5 and 21.2 complaints. The CTA specifies that these complaints are generally filed after passengers have tried to resolve their problem directly with the airline concerned.
