Royal Air Maroc Launches Direct Flights Between Morocco and Israel

After several postponements due to the Covid-19 health crisis, the inauguration by Royal Air Maroc of the Casablanca/Tel-Aviv air route was effective this Sunday, March 13, 2022. A Moroccan delegation composed of economic operators and personalities from the world of culture who will participate in a series of economic and cultural meetings with their Israeli counterparts was on board this first flight.
The national airline has launched the Casablanca/Tel-Aviv air link this Sunday. It will operate four weekly flights before moving to five. The flights are scheduled to depart from Casablanca on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 11:55 pm (Moroccan time) with arrival in Tel Aviv at 6:15 am (local time). As for the flights departing from Tel Aviv, they are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with a takeoff at 7:15 am (local time) for a landing in Casablanca at 12:10 pm (Moroccan time).
In a press release, Hamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is delighted with the inauguration of this direct link to Tel Aviv, the first in the history of the national company. Through our Casablanca hub, and as a member of the oneworld alliance, we directly connect more than 80 destinations in the world, one of the most dynamic networks on the continent," added Hamid Addou.
"This new link meets the expectations of the Moroccan community established in Israel, which maintains strong ties with its country of origin. It also aims to allow tourists, as well as businessmen and women, to travel to Morocco or Israel," concludes the same source.
